Virtual Book Group, May 14 at 7:00 PM (Registration Required)

The CPL Virtual Book Group will meet via Zoom at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 14 to discuss The Death of the Necromancer by Martha Wells

Someone with tremendous magical powers is opposing Nicholas Valiarde, an embittered nobleman with an enigmatic past. Traces of a necromantic power that hasn't been used for centuries appear, and when a spiritualist unwittingly leads Nicholas to a decrepit old house, the truly monstrous nature of his peril finally emerges.

Martha Wells's latest sci fi series, The Murderbot Diaries, is a Hugo, Nebula, Alex, and Locus award-winner. We're sure you'll enjoy this earlier work that Booklist calls "a chillingly convincing fantasy that will entrap genre readers."

The Death of the Necromancer is available for checkout from the OSL eZone

Registration is required for this event - click here to sign up. Zoom meeting details will be sent on Wednesday, May 13. We hope you'll join us.
